About Us

To provide and disseminate development opportunities to the youth and establish a collaborative environment between the Local Government Units, Sangguniang Kabataan, and Youth/Youth-serving Organizations thereby engaging the youth across sectors to local governance and community development.

Legal Bases:
Republic Act No. 10742 or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, specifically in Chapter IV Section 25, states that there shall be in every Province, City/Municipality a Youth Development Office.
Republic Act 11292 or The Seal of Good Local Governance Act of 2019 mandates the inclusion of Youth Development as one of the ten criteria in awarding local government units the Seal of Good Local Governance

Local registration of youth and youth-serving organizations and endorsement to the National Youth Commission for national registration.
Provide assistance to youth-related offices, agencies, and organizations in the preparation and execution/implementation of their Youth Development PPAs.
Provide assistance to the youth through linking them with the proper office/agency/organization concerned.
